Visit to the School of the Blind Students in El Bireh in November 2021

In spite of the enormous load of his task, the Founder and Director Sheikh HAYYAN, took the time to receive us with his usual kindness.

We were able to attend a traditionnal dance training session and during our tour of his foundation, the Sheikh reiterated his deep passion for the education and the care given o the children he takes care of with his team. We were present during Braille classes in English and Physics. We have also seen the Braille printing facility which produces school books and business cards.

Because of the pandemic, donations have dropped drastically, but he did not hesitate to find, as usual, ideas for collecting donations. He made “donation boxes” which he left in shops around the area.

We felt the pride and the ultimate goal of the Sheikh, in the proof of the hard work he did to lead “HIS” children to a better and autonomous life.
