REFUGEE CAMPS AIDA and AL’AZZA Bethlehem February 2025

The Aïda and Al’Azza camps are overcrowded. For the Aida camp, the refugees come from 35 Palestinian villages and towns. Devoid of medical and educational services, the Al’Azza camp was attached to that of Aida to receive these services.

Infrastructure is insufficient (water and electricity shortages, unemployment rate and limited access to care). However, a youth center was created in Aïda, aiming to empower children through arts education and sport.

We supported these two camps, with donations for the creation of a manicure and pedicure center as well as a small fitness room, exclusively reserved for women.

These two structures allow them to train in manicures and pedicures, so that in the future they can earn a small salary.
